Problem recognizing QR codes reflected on mirrors/glass #314

Hi,
your app doesn't seem to recognize QR codes very well when they're reflected on glass/mirrors.
My case:
I have a phone that also has a mini screen on the back where I can put images.
Sometimes I use it together with a mirror/glass to scan QR codes of which I took photos, because some other apps I use don't have an image upload feature, and I don't always want to carry two devices.
Of course the images (of the QR codes) are flipped with a simple command via Termux (magick input.jpg -flop output.jpg) before being shown on the mini screen, so that when mirrored they appear correctly.
Anyway, your app fails to recognize these reflected QR codes— not even after 5 minutes trying all kinds of lighting — despite these being very basic black-and-white QR codes containing only text: about ten lowercase characters, a couple of uppercase, some numbers and a few basic special characters like - _ = SPACE
I tried another older Android app on GitHub that also uses ZXing, and it reads the reflected QR codes perfectly within a few seconds.
However that app's project is abandoned (no updates for years) and it's not fully FOSS, so I'd rather avoid using it.
It would be great if you could improve the app so it can better recognize QR codes
Thanks for your work
