CSV Separator setting not respected

In settings, I set separator to ;
When I open a CSV file separated with ; the columns are still split on comma. No matter what separator I specify in the settings, it is not respected. Even IDE restart does not change it.

PyCharm version is 2025.2
Plugin version was current version at 2026-01-20
