Community contributions and repository migration

Dear Makers and Contributors,

We’re excited to share that we’re nearly ready to open this project to community contributions and begin welcoming community pull requests.

As part of this effort, we plan to transfer this repository from the current SiliconLabs GitHub organization to SiliconLabsSoftware on June 9, 2026.

The new repository URL will be:

https://github.com/SiliconLabsSoftware/arduino

All existing issues, commits, pull requests, and discussions will be transferred as-is. Existing links to the current repository should continue to work and redirect to the new location.

During the migration, you may experience a short period of downtime or limited access, but we expect everything to return to normal shortly afterward.
