SCS Website does not convey the exact value proposition of SCS in a tl;dr

Throughout the last year, numerous times people who tried to get an idea of what SCS is went to our website and did not understand the value proposition of SCS.
Imho we lack a tl;dr of what SCS (the project, the standard as well as the reference implementation) is and what it offers.

I strongly support that. I had similar experiences talking to different people. IMHO we need very clear-cut, specific messages for different target groups such as CPS, developers, end customers, political decision makers, the general public etc.

Thank you for your feedback. I strongly agree that we should condense the value proposition of SCS in three very short paragraphs on the homepage. What about meeting on a Friday afternoon for a first writing session?
