Unable to Use Keyboard Inputs on Mac

Describe the bug
I have discovered a bug where while watching a lecture one is unable to use the space bar and arrow keys on the keyboard to pause/unpause or forward the video playback respectively.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to any lecture recording.
2. Let the video play for approximately 10 minutes.
3. Try to use the space bar or arrow keys
4. See error

Expected behavior
Pausing/unpausing or forward the video.
