Opt out of window scroll restoration for a specific route

As far as I understood based on docs it's only possible to opt out of scroll restoration if its not window

These selectors are handled in addition to window which cannot be disabled currently.

One of my pages is a window bi-directional infinite scroll with initial render at any height, if I enable global scroll restoration it somehow messes with it, I am unsure why. Currently I cannot opt out of it which means I'll need to handle scroll restoration and resetting manually.

I would love if it was possible to opt out.

can you please share a complete example of your use case?

I will try to reproduce it, I think I also need Tanstack Start for complete example since my problematic interaction seems to be related to SSR. I wanted to fork the Start CodeSandbox example but all of them seem to be failing at the moment, I'll keep checking and will let you know.

@schiller-manuel I think I understand my problem now. When you are on a page with window scroll restoration and you refresh the page, it attempts to restore the exact scroll position but my content height changes, that's why I see it jump around.

To explain a bit more:

• I have an SSR page, lets say 1000px height
• I hydrate it on the client, it matches perfectly
• its a bi-directional infinite list, so once hydrated I prepend and append the list, visually it still matches SSR'ed content, but user can scroll up and down, its now 3000px in height
• once its all loaded and I manually refresh, the SSR'ed page will not render at offsetTop: 0 like it did on initial page load, it will attempt to restore window scroll position that it has at the moment, but since I modified the height of window with my infinite list, it will not align

Now that I understand it, I don't think its a problem for me, since I do not expect users to manually refresh the page. If they land on the page directly, there is no scroll restoration and no problem.

I would still love to disable it per this route though :)
