Skip Segment button visible in Picture-In-Picture

When doing picture-in-picture (by starting a video and then switching to another app), the skip segment button still appears. Youtube's "Skip ad" button doesn't appear in picture-in-picture.

Why would you not want to see it?

It takes up most of the PIP screen and isn't clickable, so it's kind of obscuring the video for no purpose. I mostly noticed it when #60 occurred, since then it stays during the whole video.
