SuperMicro IPMI / tty problems pre-install

Just wanted to report this as I was testing it in the IRC room and @rmustacc mentioned it'd be worth at least filing it for you all.

Headnode install, booted from USB got to the GRUB screen.

ttya & ttyb = no visual, no response any other way. Infinite cursor blink.
ttyc & ttyd = visual, but no keyboard so can't proceed.
VGA worked and I was able to get past it.

Supermicro - 6047R-E1R36N
Mobo - X9DRI-LN4F+

For our own notes, the fact that ttya and ttyb don't work makes sense given that nothing was plugged in. The thing to investigate is why ttyc didn't have keyboard.
