Any thoughts on this? |

@v1kko and @mojtabaAmiraslanpour I just recloned the repository, and I am having the checkpoint stop the pipeflow example run (I thought it might be related to the hdf5 problem, but I am not sure). |

I just found out this happens only when I have the pre-inlet domain + internal viscosity feature enabled. |

Indeed, seems like the preinlet+other feature combinations break checkpointing atm. We are looking into this. |

This issue seems not to be resolved completely yet. The saving part works fine but reading the checkpoint to continue the run, still gives error: |

Adding that the checkpoint capability is working for the cases with the pre-inelt but without interior viscosity. When adding interior viscosity it will just get stuck. I doesn't even get the above error for some reason after I tried it later. |

Any comment is appreciated since I am stuck here. Previously it was told to be solved but the example case doesn't have the interior viscosity enabled. |

I am sure there should be a quick fix for this. I haven't been able to find this by myself. Is there anybody there having the same issue and wants to help find it? |

Hi @gzavo That is correct, the last commit is related to this, however, it only solved checkpoint saving but the loading of it, still fails. This has been a huge barrier for me when I am trying to run my large jobs and it would be a great help if you could take a look. I can also send a sample case for you to test. Best, |

Uh oh!

Hello,
I was performing some simulations using the pre-inlet capability on of my geometries which is not a straight pipe. Checkpoints don't get saved.
I mentioned here you have solved the checkpoint issue for the straight pipe but I can't figure out why is it not working for arbitrary geometry?
Thanks
