can you use it without unlocking the bootloader? i have a device from a country that disables unlocking the bootloader. stuck on android 12 and no more updates. it dosent give me any warning that my bootloader isnt unlocked but i want to be sure.

From my experience (With a Realme C53)
No, but you can try to find a way to unlock it with ways for the chipset itself, not the vendor.
