Description
From the R8 errata: "One of the big changes is you can now use either a pair of magnets or a pair of FHCS in Tap_front. The stronger the pull force, the more resistant to ringing, but also the more potential to marring your Build surface."
However, this begs the question of just how this is done. Looking at the part, it seems like a second magnet can be placed in each of the hexagonal holes intended for the FHCS, thereby increasing the attraction force. Unfortunately, since the instructions for installing the first set of magnets says "polarity doesn't matter", then if the two extra magnets approach is selected then the polarity of the extra magnets DOES MATTER. Since it has been over TWO YEARS since R8 came out, maybe it's time for a manual revamp?
