Learners will be able to:

  • add the templates folder, style.css, and index.html to the theme's root directory
  • add the main stylesheet's file header
  • add the optional theme thumbnail
  • activate the new theme
  • create the basic layout of the index.html template
  • add theme.json with schema and version keys
  • add the following settings: remove custom color picker, remove default color palette, add custom color palette
  • add the content and wide layout width sizes
  • apply a custom color to the body text element
  • install the Create Block Theme plugin
