Project Title and description

Flathub is a build and distribution platform for distribution-independent portable Linux apps.

Website: https://flathub.org
Statistics: https://flathub.org/statistics

Describe your use case for these machines

We have some problematic apps which don't fit into the free offering of GitHub Actions, such as Chromium and LibreOffice, but also KDE runtime. We will maintain a list of "big apps" to route them to WorksOnARM runners.

Which members of the community would benefit from your work?

All developers maintaining their apps on Flathub who have not opted-out from ARM builds.

Is the code that you’re going to run 100% open source?

https://github.com/flathub-infra

Please outline your credits requirements at a high level to support Arm builds (purpose, duration, amount, other)

Typical apps are small and seem to build within existing public preview of ARM runners provided by GitHub. We will only run builds of "worst offenders" on WorksOnARM infra which should not be more often than few times a week.

Does the project allows the use of your project logo on ARM's developer website freely? Yes / No / Not Sure

Yes
