[Q&A] "Failed to update MCP servers" error after install — Claude Code CLI works fine

After installing the plugin, typing anything in the chat box immediately triggers a Failed to update MCP servers toast, and the plugin becomes unresponsive.

Claude Code CLI works fine in the terminal with the same setup, so it seems to be specific to the plugin's MCP initialization step.

Any idea what might be causing this, or how to get more detailed error output?
