How do you start a private conversation with multiple people?

You pull up a new message window (e.g. File Menu / New Message Window), then you enter multiple user recipients. Compose your message and send, the MPIM should show up.

I know that this is a little hidden (same for creating/reopening DMs). This needs a little more UI around it (like the + button besides the Direct Messages sidebar entry in the Slack app).
