Way to downgrade a package from the gui and add it to an ignore/no upgrade list. Only problem I see is the user forgetting certain packages are in the list.

bit offtopic, would also be a add-on on this, pacman got now bacman .. is a backup for pacman, you can backup some packages with it... downgrading option in a list is nice.. can also be octopi look intoo the cache ? eventually backuped package with bacman ..?

There is a package in the Arch Linux repos called downgrade that does this so I imagine it shouldn't be too difficult?
