Adding a TILE as a device

Hi,

I have been trying to figure out which device is my TILE or if Bermuda even sees it. I paired it with my phone in the tile app hoping to get some info there, but there wasn't any help.

Is there a way to identify a TILE in the device drop down?

If I remember correctly, (old) tiles used a non-random MAC. I hade mine with me out without any other bluetooth devices near, and used a BLE scanner app on Android to get the MAC. That was before Bermuda, and I had them noted down and just added themnto Bermuda later.

I'm having the same problem with a Tile Sticker. I can see it in the Tile app as being very close by, but none of the BLE RSSI levels signal that the tracker is right next to the phone, whatever it's ID is.

I figured it out. I used the standard Bluetooth integration to list all my advertisements in a table. You can't search for service_uuids so I had to click each one. Look for uuids that start with 0000feed. Those are tile devices.

I forgot to mention here and had only mentioned it on the issues... If you have tile devices, please send me a diagnostics from Bermuda and let me know which ones they are. That way I can look at options for adding support.

Well I just discovered that the Tile Stickers that I have are using random mac addresses. I don't know how often they switch, but they definitely do it after you hit "FIND" in the app. I'll get you a debug soon @agittins
