One of the action items from the town hall is to connect with the AGU to be able to have sessions where authors can submit “software” abstracts that are separate from “science” abstracts at the annual meeting (like what is currently done for education abstracts). This way, authors don’t have to choose between being lead author on a more traditional "science" abstract and a "software" abstract.
To do so, we need to
draft an email to AGU
have a group of people who are willing to correspond with the AGU
Please indicate in this issue if you are willing to be involved!
