Drum Octapad

Hello,

after building two Pedalinomini 8, I see in Schematics that it's possible to connect a piezo element. I set it up on my breadboard and configured it as follows. (I tested all the electrical components and everything is fine)

And can someone explain to me what each setting does?

It's not working, what am I doing wrong??

Analog pedals are not supported on pedal 1 and 2 because there are only 4 available GPIOs on ADC1.
Use pedal 3, 4, 5, 6 or replace GPIO_44 with a pin from GPIO_1 to GPIO_10.

I've tried the following. Unfortunately, it still doesn't work.

You mentioned that there are only 4 ADCs available.
If it works, do you see a possibility of building an Octapad with two TRS connectors?

For analog pad fine tuning there is an action called Scan. Trigger the action using an onboard button and PedalinoMini will display an "oscilloscope" with the visualisation of parameters on each pad shot.

An Octapad could be build with only 2 TRS using 2 analog multiplexer. At the moment PedalinoMini support an analog multiplexer using pedal type Analog 4. Analog Pad 4 is not yet implemented.

It's actually a simple thing, but I can't get it to work.

Is that the right setting?

Here you can see the oscilloscope and I'm pressing the button every 5 seconds but nothing changes.

Scan action should be assigned to Control 37 or 38.

Hello alf45tar,

following configuration: T-Display-S3 with 4.1.1

• PCB reinstalled with 4.1.1
• no piezo installed
• Control 38 double-click set to scan
• Switching from bank to scan and back is possible (scan show a display with white border)

• Pedal 3 configuration to "Analog Pad"

• each douple klick to scan --> the conroller make a REBOOT

• Pedal 3 configuration to "MOMENTARY 2"

• each douple klick to scan works

• pedal 1 --> reboot

• pedal 2 --> no reboot / chage A2 to GPIO10 --> reboot

• pedal 3 --> reboot

• pedal 4 --> reboot

I hope I've written it clearly.

Any updates on the reboot? I've started building my Octapad. Would you be able to implement the “Analog Pad 4” feature? Would that also allow me to control up to four ADS1115 sensors?

Yes, I did but I cannot guarantee a timeframe.

Could you fix the bug with the analog pad first? That way, I could go ahead and start testing with four pads!

I suspect I'm pretty much alone in wanting a drum pad feature like this, so I’d like to extend a special thank you for your support.

The initial code for analog pad with mux up to 16 pads with a single port has been written. Now I started the long testing phase.
