Variable record has extra Null Values after the last occurrence

Hi,
I have a file that contains extra Null Values after the last occurrence.

This is throwing the Connection manager off:

The P1J in the file should be the start of the next record.

Has anyone experienced this type of issue. Is there a work around?

Hi,
Are these extra bytes always there and only after the last occurrence? If so maybe you can make a FILLER field to account for them and just ignore? If not then I would probably discuss it with the origin of the data file and see if something is out of sync.
