Hello there.

I have come across this software after investigate how the ed2k network has preserved so many information what internet as a client-server has failed to preserve. There i found my willingness to help out this project as the only one multiplatform and open source.

I see the website, documentation and many things related to the project are quite left behind. I have not found anyone on the IRC channel. I am in the process of compiling the source code. I can see there are two methods for compiling using autotools as well as cmake. I guess Cmake is intended to become the default compiling method.

I want to update the compiling instructions as it is fundamental to help out newcomers (like me). ¿Where should I am to document this process? Should I try to post it to the Wiki(not sure whether that is completely abbandoned), or here in the README.

If there is any priority realted to documentation let me know to work on it.
