I'm currently porting the Now in Android project to Compose Multiplatform, which will expand the project's reach beyond Android to include iOS, desktop, and web platforms. You can track the changes and progress on nowinkmp fork. Given the extensive changes involved, I welcome any pull requests from those interested in contributing to this project.
