There is a new major version of Cassandra (version 4.0)
Is it compatible with this version?

I believe the latest Cassandra version works with this version. I have created a 4 nodes cluster using Cassandra 4.0.5.
I did encounter errrors when working with JDK 11 and setuptools but they are easy to fix.
