no logs print when executing a simplest shell task

I create a shell task with very simple script likes:
echo "hello"

the task can be executed successfully, but when I click the log menu to trigger the log window, there is no logs printing
the log window shows just one line text, looks like:
[LOG-PATH]: , [HOST]: 10.0.2.15
