[GSOC 2022 Application] Interested in Develop an external tool to convert YAML configuration into DistSQL scripts

Hello, I am a first year of graduate majoring in Computer Science in Huazhong University of Science and Technology (华中科技大学).

I am very interested in the project: Develop an external tool to convert YAML configuration into DistSQL scripts and would like to apply.

Here are my initial completion ideas:

• step 1: Parsing YAML files.
• Step2: Figure out what we need to complete the output DistSQL RDL is 'ADD' and 'CREATE' syntax from parsing YAML files.

Output 'ADD' syntax:

• ADD RESOURCE dataSource

Output CREATE syntax:

• CREATE SHARDING TABLE RULE
  • Sharding Binding Table Rule
  • Sharding Broadcast Table Rule
  • Sharding Scaling Rule
• CREATE READWRITE_SPLITTING RULE
• CREATE DB_DISCOVERY RULE
• CREATE ENCRYPT RULE
• CREATE SHADOW RULE

Welcome to the Apache ShardingSphere community.
Your description is correct, but I would like to add:
after step 1 and step 2 are completed, we also want to wrap a command line tool to complete the conversion of YAML to DistSQL without starting a proxy.
Of course, you can complete the previous steps first, and the final independent wrap is not difficult.
