Video Load speed

Hi I am currently building a SwiftUI app that allows the user to upload an image or video. I have been playing with this example but due to the copying of the video to the documents directory it can make displaying the preview very slow. Are there any other solutions to this? I am only allowing my users to select one image/video at a time.
