This is a draft for a possible new structure of the hack website.

https://whimsical.com/9YPGp1pMXThn9SkJLLgBYY

What changed?

  • Two new sections:
    • Buidler plugin and Aragon Toolkit (Perhaps Toolkit and aragonAPI could be merged together since both are libraries used to interact with the Aragon solidity contracts)
  • The guides have moved to their respective project (e.g. Your first Aragon app to the Buidler plugin section).
  • The App Center section has moved to a Publishing sub-section of the Buidler plugin.
  • The Metamask and Frame guides are removed.
  • Some sections of Basics have moved to The stack
  • Custom deploy is renamed to Custom organizations

Another possible structure could be to separate this information further into 2 sections:

  • DAO development
  • Aragon App development

Been thinking about this a bit more, and starting to come down to:

  • One site (hack.aragon.org, aragon.org/hack, or s/hack/build/) to act as a map
    • Introduce the areas of development possible (e.g. Connect, aragonOS / client apps)
  • Separate "concerns" to use their own documentation sites (whether READMEs, gitbooks, microsites, etc)
    • aragonPM
    • Buidler
    • Client API
    • Connect
    • Power tools / CLI
    • Utilities (most of these are small and READMEs will suffice)
