Recover file with malformed number

Everything run fine until the cpio phase. I followed the example from README
I have gotten a error when I tried use cpio with recover file.

cpio: Malformed Number O{<}O{
cpio: Número malformado {<}O{<
cpio: Número malformado <}O{<

Some ideas?

I actually haven't touched this software in many years, alas. How large is your file? If it isn't too big and doesn't contain any sort of private data, I could give it a look if you share it with me. Please reach out directly by email if this is of interest.
