I'm sending below changes with hope it will make the project alive again:

It compiles and plugin appears in the latest Kdevelop: 6.0.240801 (24.08.1)

... but I can't find a menu option in Kdevelop

I lost a bit interest after switching to claude with artifacts it is much more comfortable that direct call to openapi.
But sure it is wort at least upgrade it to qt6.

Seems like other IDE are starting to using AI:

1. Qt Creator
   

2. Zed
   

3. VS Code

... but Kdevelop is the best, so this is how I found this repo.
However I couldn't find any "official" plans to add such a functionality/plugin to it.

I'm not sure I do it right, I compile the Q6/KF6 port (it's needed spdlog::spdlog in target_link_libraries(ai_processing then creating key here https://platform.openai.com/api-keys and put it in config. Select any text for ex.
