usage

• press and hold v in viewport to activate
• select the first corner of the selection by clicking the left mouse button (LMB), (you can release v after selecting the first corner)
• drag the mouse and click LMB to set 2nd corner
• drag mouse on the y-axis to control the z-extend and press LMB to finish selection
