Issues with ticker

Several issues exist with the scrolling weather ticker on weatherscan.net and weatherscan.me:

• Weatherscan.me/Weatherscan.net: Weatherscan’s ticker was presented to show current conditions, followed by forecasts for: 1) the two nearest major airports to the selected location, including average delay times; 2) selected cities within 50-75 miles (or up to 100 miles in areas with fewer population centers within proximity such as Las Vegas); and 3) cities within 150-200 miles of the selected location. However on both domains, the weather ticker does not display currents or forecasts in this manner for all locations.
• Weatherscan.me: Current conditions and forecasts are not regionally specific, and limited to only a summary for various cities and airports across the U.S. (Chicago, Minneapolis, Tempe, Fargo, North Hollywood, Huntington Beach, Paradise (AZ), Honolulu, Orlando and German Flatts (NY) appear as the selected cities, and Philadelphia International Airport and Lehigh Valley Regional Airport appear as the selected airports).
• Weatherscan.net: Current conditions and forecasts for John F. Kennedy International Airport (New York City) and Philadelphia International Airport appear on the ticker, but not city-based observations and forecasts. The ticker appears blank where currents and forecasts for selected cities (as organized in point 1) are supposed to be shown.

@tmanokc it seems like weatherscan.net belongs to a different group of people now (mist weather media), weatherscan.me belongs to weather ranch.

Upon further investigation, the appearance of regional current conditions and forecasts on the ticker for areas within 150-200 miles of a particular city is limited to locations in certain states (such as California, Pennsylvania and Florida). They otherwise don’t appear for the vast majority of locations, and currents/forecasts for cities within the 50-to-75-mile+ range don’t precede them.

The generic currents/forecast city list (as mentioned in the weatherscan.me note) appears on weatherscan.net in a few other locations (such as New Orleans and Green Bay).
