Description
The travel segment does not include two-day regional forecast maps, which were based on the regional forecasts previously found on The Weather Channel’s STAR units from 1991 to 2013. (It is technically also missing the national travel forecasts, though there is the obvious issue with replicating that particular product, since it shows drawn outlines of expected weather that may be difficult to reproduce with the weather.com API.)
The airport conditions segment, instead of current conditions and average flight arrival/departure delay times for up to four nearby airports, shows the aforementioned data for John F. Kennedy International Airport (New York City) and Philadelphia International Airport for all locations by default, instead of being localized to display conditions for major airports nearest to the selected location.
The traffic segment does not include the traffic flow sub-segment outlining travel times for selected routes in and near the chosen location. (This may be a dataset included in TomTom Traffic’s API that could be incorporated into the simulator.)
