See #26 (comment). Fixing this isn't straightforward, I think that it would need to start in toolchains_llvm - the path logic in the wrapper is simply too brittle.

Oh, I was only looking for open issues but not PRs 🙈 I closed #50 but will keep the issue open to track this.

To make a little more of a generic point, there's no requirement in rules_cc that says all tooling has to come from the same repository.

If any of these tools (or dependencies) come from more than one repository, it'll fail in the same place for similar reasons.

I tested the latest toolchains_llvm including bazel-contrib/toolchains_llvm#518 with hofbi/bazel-ide#5 but still facing the same issue. Are there more changes required in this repo? E.g continue #36?
