Left Menu, close on open?

I need to prep challenges and callouts in a smart classroom, but the left menu is always showing when the page first loads. this results in it taking up valuable real estate on the screen i'm using to show learners the challenge or (usually image in a ) callout. Are there parameters we can use as part of the URL to automatically have the toggle as menu-closed?

There aren't yet, but the visibility of the sidebar is controlled by a function that uses the session storage, so it is feasible to set a URL parameter for that.

Would ?menu=false work as a parameter?
