Search does not seem to use anything more than first term

When searching reports, it does not seem to use more than the first term

e.g. planned to search for "westpac" and "branch" to find specific reports for individual westpac branches, but not ATM's. Didn't notice any difference in search between "westpac" and variations of "westpac branch" (including plus signs, star's, AND etc..)
