this issue is an attempt to give some context that I wasn't really sure where to put. You can close this issue, no worries, but I wanted to share my experience and this seemed like the best place to do that.
main point
Malachite is.... really good. I like it a lot. Thank you. I tried malachite on a lark, a "heh, why not?".
I'm working on a fully private currency with Malachite, and my first few days work shows:
Since I've said I didn't know why Malachite is needed, I wanted to write and let you all know that it's fantastic. I will probably do a writeup on it.

I would only ask that we try and do something about the cargo namespace issue, but from looking around it looks like you're on top of it.

using malachite gave me some of the same feelings I got when first using tendermint, specifically massive acceleration.
