Parse supplied .htpasswd files to determine usernames and password hashes to be used for checking authentication.

Like, do we really need this? I think I would rather wait for a user to request this feature rather than spend time doing speculative-programming on a feature no one may use...

If we do go forward, it might be good to checkout the .htdigest file which is mentioned on wikipedia.
