Dashboard gives No Data for most panels - CNPG 1.27v with barman plugin

we find only cnpg_* metrics flowing through.
However, the dashboard has other metrics starts with kube_*.
please help.

this is what i get when i run cnpg_collector_up . there is no namespace. PodMonitor lives in the same namespace as the cluster but operator lives in the different namespace.

If so, could you share your operator and database deployment?

I configured my operator with the following values:

    monitoring:
      podMonitorEnabled: true

And my PodMonitor in the database namespace looks like this:
