Code of Conduct

Coco follows a simple norm: be kind, focus on the work, give credit.

In short

  • Treat others with respect, regardless of role, background, or skill level
  • Argue ideas, not people
  • Assume good intent; ask before assuming bad
  • Give credit where it's due
  • Don't disrupt others trying to participate

Out-of-scope behavior

Anyone whose actions consistently make the project less welcoming or less productive may have their participation paused or removed by a maintainer.

Reporting

Concerns can be reported by opening an issue (use the private label or email if sensitive). Reports are handled discreetly.

For a more detailed framework, see the widely-adopted Contributor Covenant 2.1. Coco aligns with its principles even though we keep our wording short here.
