I like the static hosting functionality of fiber and the dx of connect.
but as fiber does not use std http stuff it seems to not work together

By "fiber" do you mean "github.com/gofiber/fiber/v3"?

If so, they provide adapters that will let you install a "net/http" handler (like a Connect RPC handler) in a fiber server:

it seems that fiber uses fasthttp which does not support http2
