2026.4 compatible with pyscript 2.0.0?

I'm currently running core 2026.4.4, and I saw at the top of the pyscript release notes "The 2.0.0 release supports HASS 2026.5+."
but does it support <2026.5? i don't think it should show up as an update if it's not compatible with my system, but it's happened before that incompatible updates appear as installable in HACS.....
