Garmin is now pulling the watch battery percentage into Garmin Connect.

Are you able to use this and create an entity?

Same for all battery sensors displayed on garmin connect (Power meter, Radar, HR sensor, ...). That would be very helpful.

Can you show a screenshot where these can be seen? It seems device dependant?
If you can open developer tools in browser and check which url and payload is used for fetching the data.

Testing paired sensors with test_fetch_data.py

Install the library:

pip install ha-garmin
Clone or download the test script:

git clone https://github.com/cyberjunky/ha-garmin.git
cd ha-garmin
Set credentials and run:

GARMIN_EMAIL=your@email.com GARMIN_PASSWORD=yourpassword python test_fetch_data.py
On first run it logs in and saves a token to .garmin_tokens.json — subsequent runs reuse it.

Look for this section in the output:

FETCHING SENSORS DATA

If it shows [] — no paired sensors found on your account. Otherwise paste the full sensors block here.

The full raw data is also saved to .garmin_data_dump.json — look for the "sensors" key at the bottom of that file.

@00pi Thanks for the dump. The two ANTFS entries (batteryLevel 70 and 50) are likely your Fenix 7 and Edge 1040 as seen by each other over ANT-FS pairing — the sensors endpoint only lists paired devices, so the watch itself only shows up when paired to another Garmin device.

Can you check: do 70% and 50% roughly match the current charge of your Fenix and Edge? If yes, we know where to pull device battery from.

unfortunately none of the entries matches the battery state of my Garmin Fenix or Edge. The first ANTFS senor "GRV 10200" is the shifting of my gravel bike. Not sure about the second one but its last sync date makes is very unlikely to be one of the "wearables".
Just thinking out loud: all the sensors are shown on the Garmin Connect Web page. But the battery percentage of my Fenix only shows up in Connect Android. The battery of the Edge does not. Maybe this is directly communicated between the Fenix and the Android app, not through the server as they apparently do for the sensors?
