The "installation" section covers how to install via pip and conda, and the "managing environments" sub-section recommends use of the cylc wrapper to manage multiple installations.

We need a specific section on site installation for multiple users:

  • side-by-side installation of multiple releases
  • use of the wrapper
  • what admins and/or users should put in their login scripts (e.g. path to wrapper; default CYLC_VERSION)
  • advice on how to get users to upgrade to new releases (note also Easier upgrade for users cylc-flow#5209 )
