I’ve been actively using Daily.dev and started thinking about long-term engagement and creator incentives.

As the platform grows, one potential feature that could significantly improve consistency and content quality is a creator incentive system tied to engagement and contribution quality.

Idea Overview

Introduce a system where users (creators or squads) can be rewarded for:

Consistent posting activity
High-quality content (based on engagement, saves, or upvotes)
Meaningful contributions to discussions
Curated content that performs well over time

Possible Implementation Approaches

Instead of direct ad-revenue sharing (which could be complex), this could be implemented in structured ways:

1. Tier-Based Creator System
   Bronze / Silver / Gold creator tiers
   Based on consistency + engagement metrics
   Unlocks perks instead of direct payouts initially
2. Reward Types
   Platform perks (visibility boost, featured placement)
   Early access to features
   Profile badges/credibility signals
   Optional monetization unlock at higher tiers
3. Monetization (Long-Term)

If explored later, monetization could include:

Revenue sharing from promoted content
Sponsored content opportunities
Squad-based monetization pools

Considerations

To avoid spam or low-quality content farming:

Weight engagement quality over raw views
Include moderation or trust-based systems
Reward consistency + usefulness, not just volume

Why This Matters
Encourages creators to stay active
Improves overall content quality
Builds a stronger ecosystem around squads and contributors
Aligns incentives between platform growth and user contributions

Even starting with non-monetary incentives (tiers, visibility, badges) could be a strong first step before exploring financial rewards.

Thanks for the suggestion. Have you seen our Cores and Awards feature?
It allows users to reward their favorite creators.
In addition we have the reputation system which increases the exposure and credibility of the creator
