Hi,

I have recently update the pgBackRest Controller image by simply reapplying the manifest

So far so good the controller has been updated.

The question I have is what about the sidecar container (I have also updated the image). On the cluster side, the sidecar image had not been updated.

Is it what is it supposed to happen ?

Should be good to have some explanations about the workflow that happen when images are updated

Hi  @fguiet ,

Indeed, currently, when upgrading the controller, sidecar containers are not upgraded.
The sidecar container version must be changed manually, which is, of course not maintainable in the future.
Tests are being made for such cases (and much more) in our side.

I have just update from v0.0.1 to v0.0.2 and it seems that the sidecar image have been updated automatically.

Can you confirm that the controller is updating the sidecar image automatically when the controller updated?
