I want to have an archive page for my blog. Something like this: https://a.wholelottanothing.org/archive/

Just wondering if someone had made something similar and wouldn't mind sharing the code. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Currently for individual page archive is not available but htmly already provides for example archive/year archive/year-month archive/year-month-day. So the solution is to use the Blog Path and Blog String options under admin/config/metatags.

Set the Blog Path to archive and Blog String to Archives and enable blog URL.

From the example you gave, the only difference is the layout (you can use htmly custom layout). In this case you just need to create main--blog.html.php. Just copy the contents of main.html.php and paste it in that new file. Now you can change the style of the archive page.

Thanks! I managed to create an archive page with all the blog posts using the blog layout by following your advice. Now do I have to use the default permalink prefix to be able to sort the blog posts in the archive page by year/month/day? How do I have the year as a header and have all posts from that year under it, for example? Is it possible at all? I'm currently using the post prefix, which I prefer, but willing to switch to make it work.
