Q: How to work with Discord polling

Hello,

Is it possible to work with Discord polling somehow? To create them? To inquire about them, are they ended or not, results, and so forth?

Edit: Should probably qualify that, I did search the repository, there are results for "poll", but what I am interested in is a Discord.WebSocket interface.

You have to use rest to make any outgoing requests, including fetching messages. Discord.Websocket depends on Discord.Rest, so it will already be an import in your project:

Appreciate the feedback. Yes, did some cursory inspecfion of the Discord.WebSocket family of classes, polling, etc. Seems like it has all the utilities I need, just a matter of gathering that into a cohesive service area. Thanks!

I do have a follow on question actually.

PollAnswer has an uint AnswerId, right. So far so good. Can align that with the corresponding PollMedia.Text.

However, if I understand the model correctly, the corresponding PollAnswerCounts suggests an ulong AnswerId.

Given the Discord MO to this point, I would believe ulong over uint. However, which is it?

I wonder perhaps a confusion between uint Count morphology and the identifier.
