High-DPI Guild Images

The guild image should be a high DPI (2x/3x) to support modern displays. There is currently no option for these images, making all low DPI guild images look poor.

You would have to double or triple the resolution while keeping the image size the same. This is easy for Discord in their own app, but any random website that embeds the image carelessly will just have a bigger image, not a denser one. You would have to manually apply attributes or CSS to keep the image at the right size.

If you want to go that route, I would recommend 2x resolution as 3x is less common. However, you could also use the SVG format, and then only the guild image would have the HiDPI problem (and you can provide that in 2x or 4x resolution instead). Additionally you wouldn't have to provide any attributes or CSS to keep it at the right size, and no matter how dense your display is, the image will always be sharp.

• Raster image at a higher resolution:
  The image will look sharp on certain monitors, BUT only if you (the one using the image) manually scale it down, AND the scale factor matches someone's screen. (3x image on a 2x monitor is just going to look weird, no matter what)

• SVG image:
  You don't have to scale it and browsers will always render it perfectly, BUT you still have to provide a raster image for the guild icon AND use paths for the text in case the font isn't installed on someone's machine.
