Dear Danielle, I just come across the workshop materials you hosted on netlify and am excited to go through it. First of all, thank you for sharing the materials publicly for free. I am a web developer considering to learn more about data engineering and am therefore spending more and more time on this subject. In your workshop I noticed that certain raw data must be installed initially and for that purposes a little code snippet is provided on the website (pls. see the attached screenshot). Could you please help to understand is it writtend in python and expected to be run in python runtime environment? what is expected from someone who wished to go through the workshop? knowledge of python, anything else?
