Any way to make a script to capture a series of regions in the highest resolution, then combine them into a big terrain?

Hi guys, I am trying to create a slightly bigger (2km x 2km) area with the highest details possible. But due to the zoom level, I can only capture one tiny piece at a time. Do you know a way to capture an array of blocks for me to assemble them later?
